(April 6, 2019, 8:40 pm)Beautiful rugged, wooded walk, clean and well maintained. This is definitely a wilderness area, the area on the south side of 1488 had no facilities of any kind, just a place to park.

(March 21, 2019, 11:16 pm)Nice forest in an urban setting. Lots of traffic noise on the trails close to 1488. Bordered by homes and apartment buildings. Some of the main trails have had bulldozers on them leaving tread marks to walk on. There are a couple of nice ponds. Horses are allowed on the trails, so watch your step. Bathrooms are only available at the office.

(January 30, 2019, 8:57 pm)They have really presented this forest in a manner that is both wild and accommodating. If it's been raining, have your kids wear rubber boots. They will have more fun. And you will get a chance to be creative. I have not been in the summer, yet, but I would advise keeping an eye out for nature..
