Yes... first time here.. we'll be back to this location... my kids love the Staff at the activity center!

This is Kenneth Davis my wife passed but I still use the club Newport resources available. I stayed here 1 weeks during which time each of my children and their children came up at different times. They all loved it. They were impressed with the lodging we had the 4 pools the rec center mini golf tennis beautiful sunsets and VERY friendly staff and are ready to come back.

I loved the woods! The beautiful colored trees. I felt like I had traveled out of state but was still in Texas. This resort has a country feel. It has log cabins and suites. You can play mini golf, arcade games, horseback riding, and go fishing. The pool is inside, but still gives views of the grounds and lake. It also has a small cafe that sells fast food and ice cream.

Quick check in. Staff was friendly. If you have not been here in a while it has changed for the better. The kids game room is awesome. The amenities center is 100 times nicer. The food area looks great and the patio is really nice. Now that holiday inn took over it is definitely a place I can be proud to bring my family. Kids had a great time. The staff makes the experience enjoyable. Were on vacation so were happy and the staff always looks happy and very welcoming. I have never had anything negative to say about any of the staff at any of the many locations I have visited. Big thumbs up for the staff.
