  Our son was at Nexus for 14 months. We had a good experience with Dr. Cassidy and his staff. They always answered our questions when needed.
  We give a big hands up for the nurses and caregivers that took care of our son. We know it wasn't an easy job! For all of you, we are forever grateful! Very compassionate, courteous and caring.
  Occupational and speech therapist's were attentive to his needs. Again, I know it wasn't an easy task. We thank you for your hard work.
  This is the perfect place for TBI patients to recover.

  Touchstone has been a God send to our family! My son was in a horrific car accident 17 days after his 17th birthday. He spent 5 months in a coma. An entire year in the hospital. He was able to come home and do therapy. However 14 years later he became depressed and seizures were out of control. Our nurse case manager suggested Touchstone. We were skeptical and very nervous because it is 10 hours away and we have always taken care of him. Best decision we ever made! Not only are his seizures under control but he’s a happy healthy young man. They take him on outings, the staff is wonderful to him. I can call the nurses at anytime and they are doing whatever I ask. I would recommend this facility highly! God Bless them!

  My son has utilized Nexus Neurorecovery/Touchstone not once, but twice. During his initial 6 month stay they were able to get my son out of the wheelchair and walking, eating on his own, and participating in therapy, but after reaching an initial plateau and having some behavioral issues (and insurance issues), he was transferred to a different facility under a state program. He is now back at Nexus Neurorecovery and has made even more progress and is doing really well. He has a complex TBI and it has taken several methods of therapy, medication trials, research, and working together as a TEAM to reach where he is at now.
  
  The facility is located just outside of Conroe. It is clean, has a great family feel, and is very welcoming. The outside is very peaceful with lots of trees, a nice fishing pond, and plenty of room to take a stroll and visit with your loved one.
  
  I have a wonderful case manager (Jennifer) who has been working tirelessly on my son’s case and has never complained once about me being THAT “mom”. I have had countless conversations with many of the staff and they have always been very receptive to ideas and always take time out to answer my questions. I have even had several employees take time out just to sit and visit, which makes this a more personable experience rather than a cold sterile environment. This is extremely important when you are having to leave your loved one behind and in their hands for care.
  
  No place is perfect, and we have been a several, but this place is worth checking out !

  I came to Nexus/Touchstone from Nexus Specialty. The individualized treatment I was provided with was outstanding, and encouraged growth and healing.
  I have recently discharged and am making my reentry into a busy society. I have to give credit to all the therapist and medical professionals who helped shape and prepare me for this. These people are simply wonderful, and they interact with you on a personal basis. Everything was designed and tailored to my ability, and the encouragement they gave me to reach my fullest potential was amazing.
  I saw countless people come here in bad shape, get better and leave. It is an atmosphere that encourages health and healing.

  My mother was at your facility and she received great care. She came in with complications from other diagnoses and the team was able to assist her with ALL of her needs. I would and have referred other people here. This is a facility is located in a beautiful area in Conroe, Texas. The staff are patient, caring and treat your loved one like family. I would recommend this facility again!!! Thank you!
