  Yummy scones and other delicacies.
  
  3/14/19 Just made another visit for afternoon tea with 2 buddies. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon with such delicious treats. Ooohhh and take some scones to go. I have seen some postings stating that the price is too high, but considering the quality of the treats, the price seems reasonable. The staff did a great job in the owner's absence, although we did miss seeing her!

  Have had afternoon tea here several times and loved it each and every one. The food is delicious and the presentation beautifully done. There is plenty of variety and the scones are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was our girls getaway until the boys (grandpa and my son) saw pictures. Now we either have to invite them or sneak away without telling them!

  Two friends and I had lunch yesterday. It was our first time to visit as we are new to the area. This tea room is truly a treasure. The food choices were varied, beautifully prepared and delicious. I will order the curried salad the next time I go as it is a treat. We talked to some ladies who are frequent visitors as they had the tier of tea treats. They return for every occasion. What a wonderful experience! Oh, and be sure to get a scone with its crunchy top and soft, tasty interior.

  I was super impressed! I generally am not a fan of strawberries in salad with a vinaigrette but I absolutely loved theirs with pears and strawberries! Had The Angus sandwich, quite lovely! Ordered hot chocolate, absolutely divine! For a sweet we had the lamington with the chill knocked off. I was really pleased. It was a little hot inside and service was really slow (we were the only people there.)
