  I had the privilege of being part of the original group that planted Lakeside in 1999. Ken is a solid expositor, faithful Biblical counselor and seasoned pastor. The elders are truly shepherd elders, not just governing ones. Kris Stire, John Engert, Tyler Jacobs, Tim Kemrite, Tom Walters and George Hoeopner are all men I have known for the better part of two decades. They are faithful men of the book. Lakeside will not tickle ears, but they will impart the Word and their lives. If you are looking for a church to attend, this is not it. If you are looking to BE part of the church, I would encourage you to jump in with both feet and do Great Commission work with them. You won't regret it.

  My family and I found this church after a months-long search for correct, expository preaching, as well as a place for my kids to learn and grow in Christ. We spent several months attending and heard great preaching from the pastoral staff, the youth group is amazing, and the Sunday School classes are very informative for the kids. The church offers counseling to people in the community regardless of whether they are normal church-goers, they support missions overseas, and work with a foster ministry in the county. We are grateful for the time we've spent here both for the doctrine, as well as the people within the congregation.

  I’m very grateful for this church. It’s a place where I’m confident my family will be challenged and taught the Bible accurately. The pastors are committed to the truth and are passionate in their love for Christ.

  Five stars, because I can't give it TEN! This church is an amazing source of love and learning for my family. Through our grow group, equipping hour and worship attendance, my family and I have grown in our understanding of God's word and the example set by Christ as he came to live and die for us. I have been part of a church my entire life. I must say that I have never experienced Bible study on this level. Ken Ramey, Kris Stire, Kyle Jenison and the staff and elders of this church are some of the most versed and skilled men of God that I have ever met. I look forward to my children growing up in this church and growing nearer to our Lord, Jesus! Please come see us!

  Lakeside has been a place for growth for myself and family. The teaching of the church follows the Bible, which will challenge you to grow spiritually and try to become more like Christ.

The reality is that every church will be filled with people with a variety of musical preferences and it's hard for them to sing when they don't like the songs. Self-righteousness. It seems to spring up in the church like the weeds in the lawn after the cold of winter breaks.
