  The most amazing meal I can remember! My boyfriend and I were driving through and just stopped here on a whim. He got a huge chicken fried steak and I got the Apple walnut salad. I couldn’t resist Phil’s Temptation which was a huge brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce, to die for! Friendly, quick service. Wish we lived nearby so we could come back more often! I’d give it ten stars if I could, definitely worth a try! ♥️

  LOVE this place!! I wont go anywhere else for good ole southern style food. The chicken fried steak and fried okra is to die for. Love the atmosphere and always have great service. Even the tea is dang good! I made the mistake of trying Ransoms last weekend. Phil's puts that place to shame! If your a weekend warrior or live in the area and are looking for good food, Phils is where it's at!

  I love Phil's, have since my first visit 3 years ago. My only gripe, and I have made the staff aware of it, is that it is too cold in the restaurant to enjoy your meal. Not just once but every time we have been. If the manager would correct this one issue I would gladly give 5 stars. If you want a good meal in Montgomery then definitely visit Phil's but be sure to dress warmly!

  I spent one year in Montgomery and most the time I ate at Phil's road house.
  He was a good good man and had a lot of heart for what he did. I miss this home feeling good place. And the waitresses were the best! Always made me feel at home. Thank you for your hospitality!!

  Comfy, well run restaurant, with great food and fantastic service. You will not leave hungry, I promise. Portions are huge, food is fresh, and nicely presented. Definite bang for the buck. We will return! It's our new favorite.
