  Where do we start.....?
  About me: I have 2 children who attend this Lighthouse, one is 7 ( after school program)and one is 2.
  School in a nut shell: Engaged, intuned, inspirational for little ones and motivational, elite child treatment, above standard expectations for all teachers, tranquil and inviting. They are clean, organized and the playground is amazing, miniature golf and soccer.
  Director: words do not do it justice but, Amazing will have to do- she has by far the best outlook for child development I have seen in a while. Her ability to be creative in learning lessons allows for each student to blossom in all areas. Her dedication fills the hallways with love and compassion! She keeps the employees on point and follows processes! She is also fully engaged in each classroom, and has even started to add degreed teachers and the school is reaping the reward of her leadership.
  My two little ones: before my 2 year old started he was super shy, he has been here for over 6 months and has popped his bubble- he has had fun filled friend making experience here. His speech was also ill behind but since he has caught up and I truly believe it’s feom all his creative lessons!! My older son,7, attended the summer camp- he had so much fun it was a mini vacation for him and not just a place to be for the summer. Field trips galore!! Now he attend the after school program and looooves it!
  Tip: trust the parents who place there little ones here everyday and go to work knowing their children are cared for, simply put.
  
  Follow up: I don’t typically post to review sites as some are so biased and it’s so difficult to know the real from the fake. After seeing some fake reviews on here about this lighthouse and the director I felt compelled to share how wonderful of an experience we have had. Hope this helps you, don’t pass up on an amazing place for your little ones because of negative people!

  I have two after school children here. Both of them love this school.
  
  My youngest started Kindergarten this August and she has "mastered" the first month of school because she was so well prepared. My eldest started here as summer camper and begs me not to pick her up every day.
  
  The staff is really attentive and nice.

  This school is a GREAT school. My child has been here for over a year and it seems that the review below was written by someone who may not have ever had a child there. The reason I say this is because the Director's name is not spelt correctly nor does it speak to her abilities or work ethic.
  
  I would have to say when I have asked or been told something by Mrs. Carlen that she not only accomplishes what I ask but, she follows up to make sure I am satisfied. I personally watch my child on the classroom camera live feed throughout the day and I have never felt that I have been told something un true. I have noticed a change in the teachers of the schools and they seem to be more experienced as the school grows. My child was in a younger classroom and because I felt my child was a little bored and the teachers seemed to be in need of more training I spoke with Mrs. Carlen. She added a third teacher and even moved my child up to the next room. The cameras are really great so again it makes me wonder if the person below who wrote that review even attended the school because you can see everything,
  
  As far as the smell of the school..... I don't think I have ever smelt anything bad. On occasion I have walked in during a diaper change but, I think that is "normal" in a childcare facility. This morning when I dropped my child off she was eating French toast sticks, blue berries and milk. I think that the food is easily consumable and healthy for the most part.
  
  My parents attended a Grandparents Day breakfast they had recently held. They are a tad critical but really enjoyed the breakfast. They sent photos and said they loved the staff, school and event.
  
  The school is clean, the teachers are good, the children are learning and I feel like it is a safe school. We will continue to stay here and I am happy to write this review for the school my child LOVES.

  Out of all the day cares my children and grandchildren have attended, this one is the cleanest and most well run. Families are always made to feel welcome. My grandson attends this daycare and loves it. He has made friends and learned many things. As a retired school teacher and administrator, I love that every age group has a defined curriculum where they can learn according to their age. This is definitely a learning center as the name says and not just your average daycare. My grandson loves to attend everyday and always has great things to say about what he is learning. I can also speak to the work environment. Mrs. Carlen is very attentive to all the needs of the students, the parents and the staff. This is a very positive place to work. The teachers here are very competent and caring. Everyone works well together. Only someone who did not want to be part of a great team and work together would be unhappy working here! Love this school and the people here.
