  The Only reason I didn't give 5 stars for this review is because half the time we visit, they never have what we want, ready to sell.
  
  My roommate and I work late nights and are often there between 4:05 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.. Our favorite item on your menu is large ham and cheese kolaches, but they have only been ready to sell on one occasion, upon our arrival.
  
  Otherwise, I absolutely love Pat's Donuts, they have the best kolaches in Texas, the best donuts, and the service is always very fast and polite. Most visits, we are prepared to buy 4 large ham and cheese kolaches, 2 small sausage kolaches, a couple donuts, and a chocolate milk. Sometimes we add a Vietnamese coffee to the order....
  ...I just wish y'all had the ham and cheese ones ready a little earlier.

  Always a crowd pleaser. Went to school with 2 of them. Love the boudin koulaches they are amazing wish they had a spicy option though. But amazing!!

  We were coming from walmart , we decided to go to Pat's Dounuts & kolaches which a good 25 to 30 miles from my home , but well worth the trip . Place was closed for renovation for several weeks . I kept asking my son if it was open , he lives in Porter Texas. After what I thought was a year , not really , they finally opened . Couldn't wait to get in the shop and place my order . I got two jalapeño with cheese kolaches and one blueberry cake glazed doughnut . Ordered my usual large coffee . Sat down and started one blueberry cake glazed doughnut and I saw three more . I asked the lady at the register that I ordered just one , she answers, you came a long ways and we want you and your wife to come back . Wow very nice people . Sat down and ate my one doughnut and one kolache. Well worth the wait . My wife had a little bag of donut holes and a boudan kolache.
  Shippleys can not compare to Pat's Dounuts & kolaches , not even by a long shot or a Hail Mary . Renovation was beautiful .

  So good! I wish this place was open all day. Family owned. Very friendly. Freshly made breakfast with prices cheaper than your local Mickey Ds. The only Real option in this area for great breakfast on the go!

  Good and fresh. Place gets busy but they move a crowd through quick.
