Church Project

My wife and I started going to Church Project 3 years ago. We were trying out churches. Church Project was the first church we tried and we instantly knew we had found our church home. Church Project genuine focuses on knowing God and living an intentional, relational life with Him! It's about being known and knowing others. We operate with simplicity for the sake of generosity!

The Church Project really has something special happening. I attended a training here in their coworking space for a couple days and their hospitality is unparalleled. The space was perfect for our group of folks and deep time of learning and encouragement. While we didn't get to attend a Sunday worship, we did get to have a small time of worship in the morning of the second day. In addition, Sunday isn't their focus. They really want to mobilize people into their mission throughout the city of Houston. They function through missional communities and smaller groups of people living on mission to impact their cities Additionally, they have a deep understanding that their space is for the city, not just for the church one hour a week and so they actively partner with organizations to offer an excellent space at an affordable price. It's an incredible and routine breaking understanding of who the church is and what we are to be doing. If you're in the Houston area - check them out and jump into one of their groups living on mission.

If you are looking for the truth of God's Word, I highly recommend visiting Church Project. Their Senior Pastor is exceptionally gifted and authentic in every sense. Your life will be transformed by participating in the life of the church. They also do amazing ministry locally and globally! I can't say enough good things about the church. I have been so blessed here!

I love my House Church group. Give one a visit and you will be blessed. You don’t even have to go to Church Project to be a part of one.

Getting plugged into your local House Church, which is your actual church family, is fantastic! Your House Church will be close, economically and socially diverse, and filled with people who know you and want to walk with you through whatever life throws at you.
Jason Shepherd is the senior pastor, and he is passionate about the Lord, the Word and communicating it in a way that is understandable, applicable, and most of all accurate!
The worship is phenomenal.
There are literally so many ways to get involved, but not in some building or a bunch of functions, but actual ministries that impact the community: Locally, regionally, and globally! The actual Body of Christ; The Church!
