  My husband, 2 kids, and I went to Pelican Cove restaurant for our first visit tonight. It was a warm, breezy evening, so we sat outside and enjoyed the weather and live music. Shawn, our waitress, was helpful, honest, and friendly... she seemed genuinely concerned with our satisfaction and was readily available when we needed her. The food was wonderful! Fried mushrooms, fried mozzarella, fried shrimp, chicken tenders, etc. All good flavor and fresh tasting. We were pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back!

  Our Waitress/Bartender Shelby, She was the best waitress we've ever had - She was amazing - so friendly, crouched down to our level which made us feel more relate-able, she went into detail about the specials, suggested what was nice on the menu, and helped us pick the best options on the menu for food and drinks. I know a lot of waiters/waitresses do this, but she seemed so genuine, like she actually wanted to help! She suggested an item that was the same price as what we originally chose - so it wasn't about her getting more money for the company. Always smiling and courteous always checking to see if we need another drink right before the first one was almost gone. I have been back since then alone and every time she is still the same! Busy or slow she always makes you feel like the most important person in her seating area! Her kindness plus the lake view, makes for a great night to watch the Astros!

  Awesome atmosphere. Great views of the sun setting over the lake with a beer in hand and the Astros on the TV. Very attentive staff and great food! 10/10 would recommend.

  We stopped in last week for a couple of beers and lunch, taking a break from fishing. The place wasn't very busy. We parked the boat on one of their many boat slips. The bartender was very friendly and personable. We split an order of cheese sticks with marinara and a fish fry. It did take a bit long we thought for it not being busy, but the food was great. Hot and tasty.
  The best thing is the view and relaxing while there. The only negative was we thought the music was a bit too loud for the crowd that was there. We had a hard time having a conversation.
  We will be going back again.
