  Update as of 6/29/20: James Coleman, Manager at the location addressed all of my concerns and issues to satisfactory conclusion. My vehicle is driving completely fine, with no issues to report. Mr. Coleman was very prompt and courteous to me my entire visit as well as my subsequent follow-up visit, and he insured that I did not leave the location with a vehicle that was not fit for the road. I am very grateful for the service I received with my vehicle. I now with complete confidence, highly recommend this location, as the employees here, including the manager, stand behind their work and guarantee a good job is done for your vehicle.

  I brought my 2017 RAM ProMaster City to this location on June 17th, 2020 for my yearly routine tire rotation and balance. I arrived at this specific Discount Tire location located at 1817 South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi, TX. 78416 at around 1:45 pm and was told it would be a one to one and a half hour wait for service. My vehicle wasn’t addressed until 4:50pm in the afternoon. The technician(s) working on my vehicle rushed the job and returned my vehicle to me with tire pressures all out of factory specs of Front Driver: 32psi (39) Front Passenger: 37psi (39) Rear Driver: 39psi (42) Rear Passenger: 38psi (42). (Factory Specs in quotations. Actual measured pressure listed) Not only was my vehicle returned to me after over 3 HOURS of waiting on it at the location, it was also returned to me not reassembled properly underneath the vehicle on the passenger side front wheel. You can clearly see in the picture attached to this review that the technician unscrewed and removed the plastic covering to access a point to jack up the vehicle and did not properly reattach the plastic covering after the job was complete. The technician used floor jacks, four of them in total, to raise the vehicle off the pavement to perform the service on the vehicle, and had the audacity to return the vehicle back to me without even reassembling it properly. This specific discount tire location is very unprofessional and I regret doing business with them, I highly recommend you look elsewhere to have your vehicle serviced, as these technicians have no idea what they’re doing. Not only do they not know what they’re doing, they work unsafely, raising a vehicle off the pavement using four floor jacks simultaneously. That has got to be the most dangerous thing I have ever seen in an automotive shop. I have retained my receipt and paperwork for the service, so if anyone has any questions or needs any proof, I will be happy to answer them or provide proof of service by this location. I highly recommend you avoid this location at all cost. I won’t be returning to this location in the future.

  I would have to say that the service was excellent. They offered a consistent amount of options, and Jesiah was very polite. It didn't feel like we were being forced into any purchases or services. Ended up getting two front tires along with a patch! Awesome job you guys! Keep up the good work!
