Dr. Dixon is an amazing Doctor - she is knowledgeable, honest and does not beat around the bush. Makes me feel great every time I see her and listens to all of my questions/ concerns. Under her care, I was able to successfully get pregnant and now I feel that my baby and I are in the best hands!
I absolutely love her! I had miscarriages and didn’t like how he handled them and changed drs to Dr. Dixon and well I loved the vibe of the office. When she was explaining everything and making me feel at ease with the situation and I had asked when I do get pregnant can I at least be seen whenever I’m nervous about something during the next pregnancy and she said yes! I love her so far I’m glad I have her as a dr now!
I won’t go into too many details about the exact nature of my my time with Dr. Dixon. But here is my honest point of view of her so far.
I think most medical professionals are untrustworthy bullies who have too much power over your future, too much ego, and not enough compassion. They use threats and pass judgement in a snap without actually listening. I am terrified of going to the doctor or a hospital and avoid it despite all pressures to do so unless I am to the point where I absolutely cannot avoid it.
I chose Dr. Dixon because of her superb reviews and (as childish as this reason is) because of the genuine kindness in her face from her picture. I hoped that meant she would be different.
I am relieved to say I was not mistaken in my choice.
It was only a few minutes into our first appointment when I realized she is one of the most compassionate and tender-hearted people I have ever spoken with in my life. I will challenge anyone to find a more caring, kind, sweet, understanding doctor that ever lived.
For the first time in my life, I will not be afraid to go to a doctor. If every medical professional was like her, I think we would all be healthier, happier and find going to the doctor as a kind of safe haven.
My original OB left the group, so I needed to find a new OB. I was greeted with great nurses and staff; when I met Dr. Dixon, I was immediately impressed with her personable demeanor. She made me feel right at home and extremely comfortable. She answered all of my questions and reassured me on any concerns that I had. I will definitely be back to see her in the future ?
Going to the OB isn't usually an experience most woman enjoy. On that note, my visit with Heather Dixon DO was very pleasant. She took the time to talk to me and conducted a thorough examination. Great bedside manners. I've recommended her to a couple Co-workers already and will continue to recommend her.
