Senior Care at Lake Pointe

Me and my wife are amazed how our mother Virginia has come to love her new home. Amber has been unbelievable., mom just adores her. She used to tell me every day to take her home.
Now she says no Don I love it here !!!

My mother recently had a fall and broke her pelvis in three places and needed a rehab hospital (skilled nursing) to assist while she recovered. Very stressful time and very tough decision to place the care of your loved one in someone's care. This was certainly a great decision to chose Senior Care/Lake Pointe Rehab in Rockwall. They were all very caring and sweet consistently during her stay for the month of October. It was not without a few frustrations which you are going to have anywhere but what I can say is that they are attentive, kind and worked to address anything she needed. The Director (Emmanuel) took time to sit down with me personally and that meant a lot to ease my fear and give me a point of contact for the duration. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a facility for caring for your loved ones. Very grateful for them! Mom said the food was better than she expected also! Beautiful spot right on the water also!

My quadriplegic brother has been at this facility for a year and half. Initially things were not good at all but thankfully a new administrator and Director of Nursing came in June/July 2017. Everything is so much better. The DON is very responsive to questions and concerns. The consistency with nursing staff on weekday shifts is extremely helpful in continuity of care. Weekends are a little more challenging but administration is working on this.

Nothing but good things to say about this facility. My grandmother was transferred to this facility from the hospital and they made sure the transition very smooth for her and our family. Very nice and CLEAN facility and the staff is courteous and dedicated to the care of the residents. They went above and beyond what we have dealt with in the past and it was very much appreciated by our family. The Director of Nurses always made himself available for any questions we may have had and made transferring care of my grandmother to the facility less stressful for us. Thank you Senior Care at Lakewood for all you do!

My grandmother was here for a while recovering from hernia surgery, and due to the amazing service she received, we decided, when it was time, to put her in the nursing home attached to this facility. The workers seem like they genuinely care about their patients. They push the patients to push themselves. They are personable and seem very caring.
