Royse City Medical Lodge

It is never easy to know you can no longer care for your loved one yourself at home. The decision for my Grandpa to become a resident here was a very difficult one for my family. But the staff at Royse City medical lodge have made it much easier. I am so grateful for their consistent, compassionate and competent care. My Grandpa's condition upon arrival here was quite poor but the Team has done everything they can to help him and make him as comfortable as possible. Allie, Renu and Elisabeth have been stand outs. Thank you all for the incredibly difficult work you do everyday. ❤

The Lodge is a great place. The aides, medication aides and nurses are caring and compassionate towards the residents. My dad's daytime nurse, Elizabeth, was very helpful and informative. Anytime I had an issue regarding my dad's care I would talk to his nurse or aide and they took care of it. Before Covid the Activities director had plenty of activities scheduled throughout the week. When Covid arrived she would go to the rooms of each resident and take goodies or just talked to the residents. She would even help him face-time with me. I had a couple of things I needed taken care of immediately and the social worker was amazing in getting them both completed. The receptionist was always welcoming when I walked in the door. My dad recently passed away and the compassion of the entire staff was amazing. If I had it to do over again, I would still choose the Royse City Medical Lodge for my dad.

THANK YOU to all the staff at Royce City Medical Lodge. My mom was here for years. She recently passed in January 2021 due to Stage 5 Parkinson's. Thank you for everyone who took wonderful care for my mom Sally Moreno. Your caring and compassion meant so much to me. "Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person's life." Knowing that she was taken care of and loved is piece of mind.
