“"DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER" My wife was skeptical about staying here but was swiftly opening up to the idea while checking in with the new GM Stephanie, (a U.S Army Veteran like myself )was very warm and welcoming . The room was clean, very comfortable, and Inviting. Stephanie was also extremely accommodating. She went above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable , we got to hotel super early and we were allowed to check in early at 10am, she doesn't l know how much stress she relieved by doing that. I know from personal experience that no other accommodations in the area would do that ! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone coming to stay in Mathis, or just stopping through! The also have a RV park located in the back !”

“Quick, affordable, and professional! Everyone was very friendly, and they made the whole process of getting my windshield replaced super easy; and it was done in just a couple of hours. “St. Patrick's Cathedral is a very famous church, to say one of the 7 wonders of cathedrals which have been visited by pope, kings and authorities from all over the world, a gothic style church is located near luxurious brand stores and opposite Rockerfeller Center is a very large church which can accommodate around 2,500 people seated and up to 3,000 standing, beautiful cathedral.”

“Came to town to work on local wind farm. Found this gem of a place in Mathis! Was her for about 3 months! Owners were always accommodating and the rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel is older but the owners have done a great job updating the place. All the staff was very nice and helpful. WiFi was good. Water was hot and had great pressure flow! Fridge and microwave worked great. Industrial ice machine was always plentiful. Convenient to anything you need and to highway. 45 minutes to the beach and 10 minutes from Lake Mathis! Good Chinese restaurant at location. Good Mexican restaurant nearby. Car wash across the street. Grocery store down the road. Great location convenience! Super quiet. Never had any issues. Even left equipment in back of truck with no issues. Felt very safe the entire time. Solid weekly rates and even got a discount from owners on pet fees! Greatly appreciated! And for all y’all who know extended stay, they cleaned the rooms EVERY day!!! That was huge! Above and beyond! So many good experiences here can’t list them all! But overall, this was an awesome find and anytime I will be in the Corpus Christi area I will gladly come back here!!! Love this quaint little place. Think so highly of the owners and am so very grateful for such a great experience with them!”

“When my wife came home from work to find this beautiful bouquet in her hotel room she began crying and couldn’t say anything coherent for at least 5 minutes then hung up to go take a shower! Due to unfortunate circumstances my wife is on the road traveling and I cannot travel with her. I am in Arkansas and my wife is in Mathis. I called this shop and spoke with Mrs. Anna who is ever so helpful and sweet! I explained the situation and they did an amazing job creating this work of art for my wife on Valentine’s Day for me! They delivered the bouquet to the hotel which I had called an arranged for them to hold at the fro t desk til she got off work. Mrs. Anna talked them into putting them in her room!! After a long and hard day I work I was speaking with her on the phone when she walked in and became overwhelmed by what she saw!! Thank you so much Mrs. Anna and everyone else at Trevino’s for helping me to touch my wife’s heart in a profound way from two states away!! I am indebted for life!! Technical stuff, price was fair and service was excellent and definitely they went the extra mile! The arrangement was beautiful and it obviously touched my wife’s heart. I would’ve paid 5 times as much for this effect. Thank you all so much from the bottom of our hearts!!!”

“Mr. Richard Hernandez was our real estate agent and went above and beyond with assisting myself and my significant other purchase land in Jim Wells County. He was extremely responsive via email, text and phone call. He made this transaction extremely easy. I wish I could say the same about the sellers agent. When we spoke to her it was almost as we were bothering her and she seemed frustrated we were taking up her time.
