Dwayne has been our saving grace! He has gone above and beyond for my daughter. He is so patient with my ADHD kid. He adapts to her learning style and goes above and beyond to keep her attention and challenges her exactly how she needs to be. He is kind and caring, smart, funny and experienced. I highly recommend his lessons for anyone interested in learning the guitar no matter how old you are. You won’t be disappointed!

I started taking lessons from Dwayne over 20 years ago. He helped me become a better guitar player than many of my friends who had been playing twice as long as me at that time. With a strong emphasis on technique and music theory, Dwayne will help you go past the basic level of guitar playing most people get stuck at trying to gleam information from secondhand tabs off the internet. Now that I’m older and I’ve got my own kid interested in guitar I knew right where I had to take him to get him started on the right foot even at a young age. This time around I can see Dwayne not only brings the expertise and knowledge necessary to teach kids guitar, he also brings patience. Recommended for all ages of people able to hold a guitar in their hands.

Dwayne has been teaching my 15 year old son guitar for over a year. Friends are amazed at the skill level my son plays. Friends with no lessons are no where near the level he is at. Dewayne challenges my son each week, encourages him yet pushes him to become better. I have seen both young and old come for guitar lessons. Could not be more pleased with his guitar teaching.

Dwayne has been an excellent teacher for our foster daughter! He’s patient with her, and yet will push her to do her best. He’s engaging and compliments her when he can. He has a thorough knowledge of guitar basics and plays expertly. I highly recommend him!

My son has been taking bass lessons once a week for a little under a year now from Dwayne -- I should mention my son is a very high energy, on the go, likes to get a crowd laughing kind of kid. Very quickly, Dwayne found a way to connect with him, build a relationship, and get him to keep focus on learning how to play. From never touching an instrument to being able to read music, play all different kinds of songs, and understand the fundamentals of bass in such a short time is amazing to me.
