Damian's Cajun Soul Cafe

I moved to Arlington a little over a month ago. I noticed Damian’s Cajun Soul Cafe every day when I pass by there leaving my house. It’s only 4 minutes from me. So I decided to try it after reading reviews. Today is Sunday so I figured today would be a good day to try it. Let’s just say I’m mad at myself for waiting a month to try their food! Everything was delicious! I had the oxtails with rice & gravy, collard greens mac n cheese and cornbread. I couldn’t decide on which dessert so I got peach cobbler and the praline candy cheesecake. I have absolutely no complaints! Everything was seasoned perfectly. I ate 5 hours ago and I’m still full…lol. The lady who took my order was friendly. I didn’t get her name. I will definitely be back!

My son says "Its THE BOMB". We had the Seafood Gumbo and Chicken Fried Chicken and it was delicious! Hush puppies were perfectly cooked, greens and mashed potatoes were soo tasty. The hospitality was phenomenal...very warm, welcoming and friendly. We are definitely coming back next time we are in town!

Amazing food! I visited from California and was in search of GOOD southern food. Everything was good from the gumbo, fried fish, yams, green beans and the carrot cupcake. The owner was also there to help explain the menu a little more. Love this place!

Incredible food. You’ll have to go here multiple times to try all the amazing food. Worth stopping for a great meal and friendly service. Etouffee is perfectly seasoned with intense depth of flavor. The fried pork chops are the best I’ve ever had. Cabbage will never be the same. I don’t know how they make everything taste so good. However, I am committed to continuing to enjoy their food whenever I can! You should definitely eat here. It’s worth the drive to taste their food. And the new location is much better than the previous one.
