Before I really got educated about my finances and how to effectively manage my insurance, I used to go to any random insurance agent down the street and ask them for insurance or look online to insurance brokers. After a few minor claims and them not really educating me this on the impact this has on my record and the cost associated with my insurance, I really didn't feel like insurance agencies were really doing much for me except keeping my car and I legal in the state of Texas and taking my money.
