Tara Animal Hospital

Tara Animal is the only place I will bring my pets. Dr. Sims is a very talented and dedicated Veterinarian. My dog is very temperamental and sassy and Dr. Sims handles her like they are best buds. The entire practice is 5 stars and each Vet takes their time to get to know your pet and serve them well. I highly recommend Tara Animal for not only annual care but also the more complex needs and care of pets.

Tara offers great personal service for our cats. The staff is friendly and the vets knowledgeable. We had two different friends recommend them and we are glad they did!

The office is now open for in-room appointments and curbside appointments are still available. Ask about their feline happy hour for wellness exams.

We found our new family vet! My husband had a great experience here with our cat’s annual visit, and they were so helpful in answering our questions about rescuing a second cat. Not to mention we just received a surprise gift and card from them today! So thoughtful, she’s gonna love it!

My husband and I are so thankful to have found Tara Animal Hospital. The team has taken such great care of our dogs since they entered their care. Unfortunately, we had to put our 10 1/2 year old lab mix to sleep recently, after a brief illness. Dr. Sims and the techs were incredible. They cohesively worked together to try and figure out what was going on and explored all treatment options available to him. His wellbeing and comfort was the top priority for all. The love and kindness they showed him, along with me and my husband, helped during one of the hardest times of our lives. Count yourself lucky to have your pet cared for by the Tara team.

I had to put my little Shih Tsu to sleep at Tara Animal Hospital on 3-4-22 and Dr Wood and her staff were very compassionate and caring towards me and my Jellybean during her last bit of time here. Our vet passed away suddenly at Harwood Road Animal Hospital and we are moving our other 4 dogs to TAH for any future care they need. I highly recommend TAH.
