Anchor Way Senior Care

Highly recommended. My dad has struggled with this disease (Alzheimer's) for a while now. I moved to Texas -- because dad wanted to "go back home". I was looking for a place in the country that felt like home to him. I found Anchor Way about 15 minutes from my place in Ft. Worth. The care has been exceptional.

Thank you to Shelita, the owner who cares so much for others. Her story stems from her grandmother (it is on her website) and why she chooses to do this because of a love for others in this situation. Extremely clean, small (a key for Alzheimer's disease) and she has a caring/empathetic staff who talk to residents as if they are a part of their own family. They call my dad "Pop", just like I do.

They also have independent apartments who are geared for those needing a great apartment with the benefits of a caring staff -- when/if needed down the road. *********Highly Recommended*******

Anchor Way Senior Care is one of the best I've ever been to. The facility is very nice and clean. !! The staff is warm and friendly and they seem to cater to their patients. I love how Shelita ( the owner) love on the patients there. You can tell she really love what she do. And the patients love her!! I would definitely take my parents there. GREAT JOB ANCHOR WAY!!!

Anchor Way is located on a gorgeous campus. The site is always well manicured and inviting. The owner is nurturing and genuine, often spending time WITH the residents, rather than being a distant administrator. The facility and its amenities are frequently being updated for safety, comfort as well as a pleasing decor. In addition, the flexibility for residents to have as much or as little assistance as they need, is appealing for a variety of life stages. Definitely recommend!

As the co-founder and owner of a local hospice agency, I've had the pleasure of visiting numerous senior care facilities and homes. Anchor Way is owned and run by Ms. Woods and it is evident that she has a genuine passion to care for seniors. She has designed and created a special place for her residents to feel like they safe and at home. Her team of caregivers clearly share in her passion, which is obvious if you spend any time visiting with them or observing how they care for their residents.

Anchor Way Senior Care Is a beautiful facility and wonderful environment for ones we care so much for. Clean and state of the art! Inviting and warm. Professional trustworthy and caring! When having to make the difficult decision for someone else to care for your love ones, this team of caretakers certainly takes that uneasy feeling away!
