Mike Kilgore is the best tech in Texas that I know...if you want your radio fixed the right way and want it to last..he is the man to do it
Best tech in the industry. If you get there early enough he'll do the work same day while you wait. I drive an hour and a half to see him. Really fair prices, and explains in detail what he's doing or done. He's busy for a reason. He knows tube amps like he invented them.
Mike is extremely knowledgeable and just a nice person. I ventured into his shop asking the most basic questions and he took the time to answer every one of them. When I returned with my radio he had it back to me the same day. Hidden gem!
Had a great visit.... Traveling through town and my microphone went bad... It's a five pin on a funky New bearcat 880. When he didn't have a replacement for it he spent some time repairing it for me and got it in work and shape again. All for a super reasonable price for his time. Thanks for hooking me up.
