Dr. Castillo is the most marvelous human being on this planet! He is kind, gentle, knowledgeable, caring and will absolutely go the distance for his patients. His treatment of my 87 year old mom has been nothing short of magnificent. He spends quality time with us, his surgical skill is on top of the charts. Truly an unusual find in the medical profession. We are so grateful that he was available to us, we cannot say enough for this extraordinary man. Go to him, trust him, he will help you!

Dr Castillo is an amazing surgeon! He just performed colon surgery on me that turned out to be much more complicated than anticipated. I am healing & doing very well. He also patiently answers questions no matter how many times my husband ask them! I highly recommend him!

Despite the slight wait in getting in the room to see Dr. Castillo, I would wait twice as long to consult with him again! He was super informative and gave us the amount of time needed to explain in great detail the surgery we were inquiring about. Staff was super nice from the get go and so appreciate that in any office! My mom saw Dr. Castillo at Baylor All Saints FW. I am an RN and I cannot recommend him enough! He spent 1 and 1/2 HOURS sitting on my moms bed with her, explaining a shocking diagnosis in great detail and answering a million questions from us all. He did a colon resection after 2 days of antibiotics (d/t perforated colon) and has seen her EVERY single day she's been here, even before he did her surgery. He continues to be patient, kind and answer all of our questions. He is one of the most patient, kind, caring, and knowledgable doctor I have ever seen.
