Very happy to welcome our new priest to Saint Benedict!
We’ve been going to St. Benedict for just a couple of months. We’ve gone to the “normal” Novus Ordo Masses our whole lives til now. Although the Latin Mass is very different, you can tell it’s the real deal - the Mass of the Ages and not just the Mass of the last 60 years. We are slowly learning our way through it. And oddly enough it’s shorter than the regular Mass, which was surprising to us. I am pregnant and cannot wait to have a traditional baptism for our baby!
Thank you my Lord Jesús for Traditional Mass. VIVA CRISTO REY!!
I enjoy the Sunday 930. I really appreciate the quietness of the mass. I can focus on the consecration of the Eucharist. I can pray and be in tune with Heaven's message. Went to large noisy church and always left feeling unconnected to the Lord with all the singing and organ music while trying to pray. It's not big or fancy but, is reverent and holy.
