Anthony T Machi MD PA

I’ve been going to Dr. Anthony T Machi for almost 3 years now, and I am 100% satisfied with him as my psychiatrist due to the continuity of high quality patient care. We started in-person and have since transitioned to telemedicine, and I’m thrilled to say that the level of quality patient care has stayed consistent since our initial appt 3 years ago. His attention to detail, starting from our initial to each & every one of our follow-ups, is unmatched, and I would highly recommend him to others who are ready to address any aspect of their mental health.

My son, now 12, has been seeing Dr. Machi for a few years now for ADHD, DMDD, ODD and anxiety. We only saw him in person 2-3 times because COVID happened which moved us to visit virtually. It was better for us since we lived about 40 mins away from the office. We ended getting my son on the correct medications and moved to visiting every 3 months. If I had ANY issues or questions, Dr. Machi always emailed me back and would even setup last min calls if needed. He is extremely knowledgeable and talks through the thought process. Yes, my son takes more meds than I want but, Dr. Machi explained that my son is doing so well because of the meds. He'll take 100 meds if it means a better more stable life for him. About 4 months ago we moved out of state. Dr. Machi still saw my son and sent prescriptions to our new state until we found a new provider in our area. What doctor does that? We can't be more pleased and we are extremely sad to leave him. I wish we could stay with him forever. We are forever grateful.

Doctor Machi is a great listener and nailed my meds right off the bat. I’ve gone through many many doctors and he is by far the best I’ve come across. His knowledge is spectacular and he a nice guy.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Machi today at 5 pm and instantly knew he was a physician that cared about his patients. He spent two hours with me. Also, no physician I’ve ever met as a nurse books new patient evals at 5 pm. He took his time explaining medication he wanted to prescribe including mechanism of action and side effects. With all of that, he made small talk. If you’re looking for a psych MD that thinks outside of the box and treats patients, not textbooks, look no further.
