(November 21, 2018, 4:37 pm)We looked at a lot of churches in this area...they were either too big, wanted your money, one even told my kids and I that if we missed 3 services, we wouldn't be welcome back..cause they were serious about the Lord. Well, I didn't think we were going to find one we felt welcome at. So I prayed...more like a frustrated, venting prayer, and one day recently I got turned around by mistake and ended up on the road that led straight to a sign that read Cowboy Church. I had heard about these, but never been to one. So, I decided to try it. My son didn't know what to think when he saw a horse come through the door, and the preacher ride it to the pulpit...I'll always laugh at the look on his face that day, but it was to make a point. The sermon was great!! Best choice I've made with a church! Very relaxing, welcoming, and the Preacher had lived a lot in this life..Good AND bad. He spoke from a place that you only get to, from living through some things in this world, and I appreciated his honesty. I think God knows what he is doing when it comes to answering prayers, cause he sure answered mine. I hope you feel the same way if you come to this one....maybe it's not for everyone, but I'm sure happy I found it!
