Very clean, great bed and shower, nicely decorated and very friendly/helpful staff. As good as many 5 star hotels that I have stayed in.

Friendly service. Clean rooms. And the bed was soooo comfy. Really good price too.

We stayed here when I was in town to visit my friend. Their handicapped accessible room was much better than most. They had 2 beds available. That is very helpful as I was traveling with my son. A lot of hotels only offer a king room and almost no one has roll away beds anymore, so that makes trips very difficult. The beds were a little high, but there was clearance underneath, so I could be put in bed with the lift. I was very impressed with their shower situation. It was a big shower, with a solid shower chair in it. I have been sent to "handicapped accessible" rooms with a piece of plastic over a tub as your "bench". In my opinion tubs all together should be dropped as a handicapped accessible alternative. It is helpful for wheelchair bound individuals. A lot of people that are not wheelchair bound have very limited mobility. Why make it harder. We have enough to deal with.
We got here later than I would have liked, so we didn't get to do the pool, but they did have a pool lift. Anything that makes handicapped people feel comfortable is a helpful plus. Life is hard enough.

When we got there, we were checked in by Billy who was really nice and helpful. Our door in room 108 was hard to open which was a little aggravating but he helped us with that. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. My only dislike would be where the TV was positioned. It was hard to watch while laying down due to it sitting on a low dresser but other than that, this was a good and convenient stay near Carowinds.
