Lupton stadium is a very good place to see a college baseball game. There are plenty of seats places to find shade and protect you from the elements and the food and drink options are quite good, varied and tasty and the prices are reasonable considering this is a stadium venue. The only thing I would take exception to, and this is just me, is that they charge $10 for parking and I think that is an unnecessary expense, they just do it because they can get away with it.
Lupton Baseball Stadium is a charming baseball stadium and field to come visit on a cool spring night, if you are a TCU Horned Frog baseball fan. If you are simply a baseball fan, come enjoy a game!
Great place to watch a game! As a long time baseball player, I can say with confidence that it’s one of the nicest facilities you’re likely to visit. The field is breathtaking, especially if you catch a late game where the sun sets into night.
Went to a TCU / Tech baseball game. Wonderful little park. Had GA seating. You are allowed to bring in lawn chairs or you can sit on the elevated terraces. Of course if you purchase a seat you have much better views and no chair needed. For us there was some issue with sight lines but you get what you pay for I guess. Lots of kids running around and just a nice family atmosphere. And the Frogs pulled out the win so nothing else was required on the night.
Nice day and nice weather. Doh
