We use it as an insert in their backpacks and have coached them what to do in an active shooter situation, information I hope they'll never need but I'd rather they have it and not need it than then need it and not have it. The Kevlar life binder is light and unassuming. Fit easily into the outer pouches on their backpacks and did not increase the overall weight noticeably.
