  I had previously purchased some bathroom fixtures, a couple of towel racks and a toilet paper holder. We were moving and didn’t need them. I tried to locate the receipt prior to returning them and couldn’t, so I figured I’d ask for a store credit. I went to the Grand Prairie store on Hwy 360 to return them and was told I did not purchase them at Home Depot. The fixtures were labeled in unopened boxes “Glacier Bay” a Home Depot product. I asked for the store manager when a young lady approached me by the name of Kendall. I’m not sure if that’s how she spells her name and I’m not one to discriminate anyone for their age. However if you’re going to approach me as if you are the store manager and she’s not, thankfully so. You better have some experience, especially when you’re speaking with someone like me who has been in retail for over 35 years. She stated the items were not purchased at Home Depot, even though they were clearly marked “Glacier Bay” and refused the refund stating they weren’t in the system. While she was stating this to me I typed the upc’s from the boxes in the Home Depot website on my phone and showed her, Yes these were Home Depot products! She still refused to offer me a store credit. Now this is about $30 worth of fixtures, it’s not $100’s or $1000’s however now it’s the point. I asked the employee at the counter for her name, hence the spelling and the number to corporate. The next day I called corporate and the representative who answered the phone decided to three way call the store. James O, another manager at the same store, asked if I would come up to the store so he could take care of me. Not just did he return the fixtures, he apologized for Kendall’s ignorance and refunded them to me cash. The reason for this post is simply, first an inexperienced manager can cost a company a long time customer. Second, never insinuate a customer is a liar. Finally, a little experience and Great customer service can make or break a relationship with a customer. Home Depot has already made their money back with the purchases I’ve made for our new home and will continue to do so. Because of James O, another manager at the Home Depot, I will continue to do business with the company. Thank you for your understanding James O, I appreciate your assistance.

  That's my store. I know most of the employees by name and they know me. Always helpful, I only shop at this location, no other will do.

  Great store! Definitely has a lot more variety of items then the one closer to home. Store is always clean. Staff is friendly and willing to help. The only thing I dislike when customers bring their dogs to the store and they were not service dogs.
