(February 15, 2020, 5:50 pm)Offering a relaxing walk around the lake shore, the North Shore trailhead is one of a kind of the trails in the Dallas area. Lake wave sound plus some hill walking means a very decompressing and soothing spot to spend an afternoon.

(February 8, 2020, 11:53 pm)If you wish you could enjoy an overall easy hiking, not too far from Dallas, this is the place. Walking along the lake and under the trees is priceless! We love nature and this park made our day. We will come back again to hike and relax. Be aware of bikers!

(July 16, 2019, 7:27 pm)Great trailhead to start a hike. Also a great spot to watch the fireworks. There are primitive bathrooms (no water inside the bathroom I think) and a water fountain at the trailhead. There are also bunch of shaded benches, I think three of them.
