  Thank heavens I found Dr. Emerson! I can't say enough good things about him! The hiatal hernia repair and TIF procedure were both a success; I feel so much better! Dr. Emerson is a true expert at what he does, is very professional, and takes the time to call his patients if they have questions or concerns. I really appreciated this because it not only put my mind at ease, but it also showed that he cares about his patients! Yes, Dr. Emerson truly cares about his patients. I came out of the OR complaining of chest pain and even while there were no complications w/ my heart, Dr. Emerson ensured that I was well taken care of. I'm just more sensitive to pain compared to most people. Thank you again Dr. Emerson for a job well done! I HIGHLY recommend him! Patient care is not routine with Dr. Emerson, it's personal.

  Dr. Emerson is a great surgeon.My wife had Hiatal hernia repair as well as the TIF procedure to prevent acid reflux. He was very open and discussed the procedure as well as answered questions before surgery. He called and answered all the questions my wife had after the surgery. She and I felt comfortable with the procedure and everything to expect before, during and after. The hospital staff was fabulous, his office staff was great and he called back immediately. Everyone should consider him if you ever need a surgery of any kind. He goes above and beyond what's expected of him.
