Hammond Piano Studio

Excellent educator for both adults and kids. Very professional. We are so glad to have him as our piano teacher. We are looking forward to more lessons. :)

I have been going to Hammond Studios for about 3+ years now. My daughter takes piano lessons from Steve and she enjoys it. The studio is warm and inviting. The studio has a musical enviornment and I admire the professionalism by Steve. The interaction between the teacher and my daughter is great. Communication by Steve is there whether it be by phone, text, or email. I enjoy the many recitals that Steve puts together so that we, as parents, get to see our kids achievements. Overall awesome teacher and studio.

Steve is an exemplary pianotpiano Growing up taking piano lessons from various teachers myself, I am so impressed with the comprehensive teaching style Steve uses with my children. They learn theory in a way that is relevant and meaningful and Steve is able to seamlessly incorporate music history and music appreciation into their lessons. My children are learning to read music but also to be composers and to play music they enjoy as well as the classics. Steve is personable and professional. I am glad we found him!

Mr Hammond doesn’t just teach piano but he teaches his students about all aspects of music-theory, composers, history, etc. He has taken my two teen boys, who had kind of stagnated with their previous teacher, and propelled them forward. He engages them in a way they can relate to. Highly recommend him and his studio!

Mr. Hammond has been teaching my three children piano for five years. He's introduced them to many music genres while at the same time encouraging their personal interests in movie and video game songs. They've also learned music theory from him, expanding their knowledge from basics to the possibilities in composition. We are so grateful for his instruction - it's filled our home with music and inspired my kids to learn their favorite songs on their own. My kids feel so accomplished when they've mastered a new piece, and performing in Mr. Hammond's recitals has helped them feel comfortable as the focus of a large group of people.
