Lucas Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Keller

This was my very first time being involved in the planning of a funeral let alone to do it for my 52 year-old husband. At Lucas Funeral home everyone was involved. They were calling me almost every day (even after hours when needed). We worked with the Funeral Director Doug Jones, who was very patient and accommodating. We also worked with Marcie Russell who is another Funeral Director and the Admin Sheri Sahs. Thanks again for making the process so seamless and for creating the memory of our loved one that we were able to share with friends and family. We will never forget what you did for us.

About a year ago, we held funeral services for my father that had passed away. Doug and the team made everything easy and I highly recommend Lucas Funeral Home. As complex as it was back then, having COVID-19 restrictions, I can confidently say that everyone that attended felt safe and comfortable during the services with no mass outbreak nor anything. Doug went through all the details and was very professional. I had visited several other funeral homes in the area prior, however, they all felt like going to a car dealership, but here we felt at ease and comfortable. I truly appreciate how simple everything was made for us before, during, and after the services. I will forever be grateful for the professionalism and patience everything was done for us.

Lucas is absolutely the best! Compassion and dedication to the smallest details started with the gentlemen who picked my grandmother up all the way her funeral day. Jay Morrill is excellent and walked us through every step. Thank you so much for all your hard work, it made my family and myself very happy during a rough time for us.

The service was awesome because Matthew kept me informed on how my husband would be transport to his next destination. (OUT OF TOWN)
They did a wonderful job on preparing him. My husband looked like he was just sleeping.
Matthew was so wonderful he my me feel that I did not have anything to worry about.

It is with great pleasure to share with you, that I am very well pleased on how Lucas Funeral Homes at Keller handled my dad's funeral arrangements from the time they picked up his corpse from the hospital to the very last time that they delivered my dad to his final resting place. Let it be known that the service and burial was held right in the midst of that historical snow storm over Texas! There was a waiting list to be buried in the DFW National Cemetery, so my dad was held at the funeral home for two whole weeks. No worries! The staff took care of him so tentatively and diligently. He looked absolutely fabulous laying in that casket. My dad's hair, face, hands and clothing was impeccable! I was very impressed! It was such a convenience to have the services at the Keller location, because it is right around the corner less than 2 miles away from my home and church. I cannot specify the staff names, because they were all great!
