Mexican Inn Cafe

The Mexican Inn we visited in Mansfield was a little different. They have mixed up their traditional corn tortilla chips with the triangular tortilla chips which was a surprise. I go for those Mexican Inn chips! Also the two bowls of salsa they sat on our table were two different shades of red for an unknown reason. I was also sad that they didn't bring us the fresh corn tortillas and butter. 😢 And I saw no pralines. I wanted a praline. Been eating at the Mexican Inn since the 1970s and while the dinner was delicious I truly missed the consistency our family has loved.

Went here on 01/24/2022 to celebrate my wedding to my beautiful wife. Went with a group of 7 and the service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. A few people had the brisket enchiladas with the white queso and they’re always amazing. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was good. Will definitely be back!

I like most any Mexican food. This was my second time to visit this establishment in Mansfield. The first time in 2007ish, wasn't very good from what I remember. Didn't care for the chips, nor their food and really didn't want to go back. Fast-forward to January 1, 2022.. They now offer a choice of chips, a good move on their part. The salsa (hotter of the two) and chicken enchiladas were surprisingly good. Service was good as well. I'm glad I tried them again and will go back..!

Very friendly staff. Our server (and all the others) considerately and properly wore masks the entire time we were there. Great chips & salsa, excellent sour cream chicken enchiladas, rice, beans, and tacos. Thank you for an excellent meal! We'll definitely return next time we're in town.

This was the first time we have been to this Mexican Inn since they reopened.I have to say it was one of our best experiences and especially since COVID. Our waitress Nubia was fantastic. She was not only super nice but she was on top of everything. The manager (I wish I got his name) was great as well and very nice. We heard him taking to multiple new workers and he was very helpful and you could tell he cared. We will be back.
