  Sometimes I'm cantankerous but Anna still does a wonderful job cutting and styling my hair. She is very professional even when I may not be.

  Today was my first time visiting Hollywood Hair Salon. I chose this place based on the other positive reviews that were given recently. I'm so glad I did because my hair looks amazing. I just showed Ana a picture of the haircut I wanted and she got it down to the T! She's super friendly and fun to talk to. I probably waited less than 5 minutes to get seen and the actual cut only took about 15 min. Quick, simple, to the point, and perfect! I absoluteley loved it and now I'm happy to say that as long as Ana is in business, I'm coming here forever!

  I used to work with a woman who always had gorgeous hair, so one day I asked where she got it done, she said Hollywood Hair in Saginaw, and to ask for Anna if I go. This was 2015. I STILL LOVE THIS PLACE. Anna has a sign on her work station that says "I'm a beautician, not a magician" and I jokingly tell her she needs to toss that sign out. She IS a magician when it comes to my hair, anyway. She colors it EXACTLY like I love, dark blonde kind of caramel color and then I usually add highlights as well. I'm over 50 and dark hair shows gray faster, which is why most older ladies go lighter. Anna understands this. She really is a very talented professional! I stupidly went elsewhere this time because it was closer to home, and my hip hurts bad if I drive far. Dec 2018 I was walking around the building on my lunch break and was hit and my left hip run over by a car that was backing out fast. I was in hospital for 7 weeks and rehab for 8 weeks. I was then in a wheelchair for months after that and am just now transitioning to using a walker. It is very painful to sit, let alone drive. It's less painful to stand straight. So I went to a supercuts to get color so I could feel human again. BIG MISTAKE. They did two processes to get my hair 'dark blonde' and STILL got it black! I spent two days recovering from even that short drive and finally went to Anna at Hollywood hair. She really is a miracle worker. She was able to do highlights in such a perfect way that it really lightened the color. She also cut my hair EXACTLY like I love.. feathered back on the sides with bangs. SO easy for me to either mousse or gel it up, or curling iron or even just blow it back. I love I can fix it so quickly. I'm sorry for the long rambling review but I am SO grateful for Anna's beautiful work that I couldn't stop staring in the mirror. I actually cried with tears of joy! She is amazing.
