  We wound up there as a fluke as our original dinner plan for our 10th anniversary dinner was squashed. We got a late start and found ourselves in Watauga. As we passed the restaurant, we knew we needed to turn around so we did. So glad we did too! Keep it up!
  The staff was super friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was comfortable. My grilled chicken sandwich was so juicy and flavorful that I didn't even need the avocado ranch dressing. I brought it home for my left over fries though. Hubby was very happy with his CFS.

  It was good food! I had the chicken fried steak and my husband had the fried pork chops. And we both thought it was really good. And we also had the green beans which was also flavorful and the mashed potatoes. We were both satisfied and will eat there again more times then one. We both want to try different things there. So we will be back!!

  The food was SUPERB! Definitely was like a home cooked country meal. The service was fantastic and I can’t say enough about the food. I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for a good home cooked country meal. They are also VERY generous on their portions. You won’t be disappointed or hungry leaving, but you will be in a food coma. ?

  Excellent food, excellent service. A church group went their today. They gave us a private room for our group of Senior Citizens. I had a Nolan Ryan Hamburger... Truly delicious... Everyone said their lunch was very good. Really nice and effecent staff... Definitely going back!
