Love the residents! They always find a way to make me laugh! If you love working with geriatrics, we have a fun group here. Staff are nice too.
I have had the privilege to work at White Settlement for almost 11 years. What makes this place stand out is the care and compassion shown by each and every staff member. This is an older building, but as a Nurse I know that it isn't always about the surroundings/structures/building looks, but more about the staff, how they treat the residents, and how they interact. The residents are our family and we are theirs. Residents come first here and it is apparent if you just sit back and watch the interactions between the staff and residents. I am proud to be part of a great team that excels in excellent patient care. The administrative staff does a wonderful job of following up on concerns from families and residents and truly care. It is evident it is not just a paycheck here. We take care of each and every resident like they were our mother, father, brother, and sister. I would recommend this place to any family who is trying to find that special place where they want that trust and comfort in knowing that their family member is taken care of! :)
I'm a current employee here at White Settlement Nursing Center. I love how the residents and staff are all like family. Each resident here has a special place in my heart and I love them all. I really enjoy working here and also love how the Administrator has an open door policy, and is always willing to listen. I can't forget to add that of all the nursing homes I've worked, this place has the best food ever!!
