“My first appointment with Dr. Strickland was yesterday. I had to call because I was unable to find the office...even with GPS. Apparently they are in a brand new office...like only been there a week. I was so stressed that the GPS problem was going to make me late for my first appointment. Upon calling the office, the most kind lady gave great directions and led me right to the office. I'd already filled out all paperwork online so once there I waited no more than a few minutes before my name was called. I wish I could remember the lady at the front desk and Dr. Strickland's assistant. They were both so calming and competent. I'm allergic to latex and as soon as she realized there was latex gloves in the room, she removed them and went to wash her hands. When Dr. Strickland came in and got a look at my issue she was able to inform me of what she did know, without assuming too much. In a world where many doctors have looked to me to tell them what I need...Dr. Strickland was able to tell me a game plan that made sense and assured me that she would be following up with me next week when she is able to look at some diagnostic tests. That's where I am now. Everyone at Northstar Dermatology treated me with the utmost care and respect.”
