“Our experience with Gentle Beginnings Birth Center and our midwife Melissa has exceeded our expectations from the start. Each visit with Melissa was a comfortable, private experience where my husband and I could ask questions and discuss any concerns we may have had without being rushed or made to feel like any of our concerns were unimportant or irrelevant. We were able to listen to our baby’s heartbeat at each appointment which was a real comfort for me personally. I really appreciate the fact that they encourage the participation of partners and any children you may have. My husband was able to attend and participate in all appointments with me. I also appreciate the focus on mom’s mental health from day one all the way through postpartum. You’re encouraged to be vulnerable in a safe space and share anything you may be struggling with. Melissa is full of knowledge and resources, I’m so grateful for her care and support through my pregnancy and now almost 6 weeks postpartum. You really develop such a special relationship with the person who will be with you when you welcome your precious baby. Highly recommend Melissa and Gentle Beginnings Birth Center!”
