“My father had to go to rehab after being sick in the hospital for two and a half weeks, he was extremely weak and could not stand on his own or transition from sitting to standing. The staff at Green Valley was very caring and kind with him, as he is not always the easiest person to deal with, at first he was a bit argumentative when it came time to change him since he couldn’t get up to go to the rest room at all, but over the first week there they had him where he wouldn’t fight the changing procedure any longer. I was there daily so I witnessed their care in dealing with him. He was on the 300 hall and all the staff for that hall was wonderful. The PT staff was amazing as well, at first he wanted to refuse to try whatever they were asking him to do but as he was healing from his sickness and the more they continued to try and encourage him to participate he did and is getting stronger and able to do more as the days progress. I was so grateful the only place that would accept my dad while recovering from Covid after being in the hospital turned out to be amazing. He was only in isolation for a couple of days since he had spent most of his time getting passed the contagious stage while still in the hospital. I wish I could name them all but I am bad with names but Candace and Lauren during the day were amazing with him, all the staff from the 300 hall, day and night staff were kind, caring and professional. I was there daily with my father and asked a lot of them, they always accommodated me and were very helpful.”
