This scratch kitchen features Waygu burgers, Nashville hot tenders, chicken fried steak and chicken, and soups and salads and all sorts of sandwiches. At our server's suggestion we enjoyed the Nashville tenders with sweet potato fries, and the Waygu burger with onion rings. Our server Hannah, was terrific. She was well versed on the menu and favorite items. She was quick to refill our drinks and seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. We will definitely return and ask for Hannah to be our server.”

“So happy to see this restaurant back in operation! This was one of our favorite local places before the fire that burned it down while the building was being roofed! And then, of course, the pandemic! They have an excellent menu that includes both the traditional pasta, lasagne, etc., but also some dishes that are more what you'd find in Italy as main courses -- fish, lamb, sweetbreads, veal, etc. The service is great and the atmosphere is calm and classy. Fries seasoned perfectly. The cheese fries my husband ordered were just delicious! As well as their Dave's Sauce. The customer service was phenomenal! They personally explained the menu making selections easier, they handed us plastic ware, extra napkins and were so kind. The only problem/complaint was from my husband; he explained that his chicken was very over seasoned and he could barely taste the chicken. He was a bit disappointed but enjoyed the bite of my chicken. We plan to return and he wants to try their Mild chicken while I want to try their mac n cheese! :)”

“Chapps is a staple on this side of Arlington. I grew up coming here for dinner often. I love that they use Nolan Ryan beef, a delicious tribute to the Texas Rangers legend. The dining room is also decorated in tribute to Texas. The burgers are good, though the fries tend to be burnt. The philly cheesesteak was tasty, though a hit lacking in meat. I took a star off for service, which seems to have gone downhill over the years. The place wasn't busy when I arrived, but it still took a few minutes to be acknowledged and order at the front counter. My food took a while to come out, longer than expected for so few customers. Good restaurant, staff needs more training in customer service.”

“The service is hands down one of the best we experienced while in the area. They also had vegan options available, so I was able to try soy chicken for the first time. Thankful I listened to the server and took a chance on the soy chicken because it was delicious. My husband ordered the orange chicken with regular chicken, and he loved that the batter wasn't thick like at other places. There aren't any dairy free desserts, so that would be the only down side but my husband loved what he ordered. If we visit the area again we'll definitely be back!”

“Finally visited this spot after finding it on google maps. Not far from my house which is nice. The place itself is a lot bigger than it looks. Plenty of booths and very clean inside. We ended up ordering the Shrimp Spring Rolls and Crispy Fried Tofu for our Appetizers. Both were delicious and good portions. For our main courses I ordered the Lemongrass Chili Vermicelli and my kiddo ordered the Curry Soup with tofu and vegetables. Again both were very delicious and great portions. We both ended up taking leftovers home. Service was very friendly and quick.”
