“This was my 1st ever visit to Lisa’s Chicken. I’m from the south & I grew up on fried chicken & okra, so that’s what I came for. I ordered the 2 piece mixed with mashed potatoes, okra & a roll. The meal was priced under $7 which was nice. Everything was hot &tasted good. My only issue was that I paid extra for “mixed”chicken to try both their white & dark meat. They gave me a wing and thigh, a combo that I’ve never gotten before ordering mixed chicken before. I was expecting a breast piece in the mix, so I told the cashier. He claimed the wing was my piece of white meat & that was that. So if you want chicken breast at this place, apparently you need to specify that when you order or you’ll end up with a wing instead.”

The size is very large and the ingredients are very real. We had the lemon pepper quail which was perfectly seasoned and crispy. grilled beef wrapped I Hawaii leaves also tastes very special, very solid beef. The most amazing thing is crab fried rice, a large plate of fried rice with a whole big crab. The point is that they are all delicious! I read other people's comments about trying durian ice cream, so we did. It's really delicious, it's really like eating durian! Will come back next time to try different dishes. By the way, this restaurant is suitable for a group of people. Because it is family size!”

I hate I didn’t get his name as well to mention because he was also very kind but the main point of this review is not about my clumsiness. Serenity made my order and before I spilled it, I tasted it and it was really great! Well I did get a new drink and it was really good too! I’ve had food and drinks here other times as well and the atmosphere it great. This is a bigger cafe with ample seating. I would say this location is comfortable and inviting. “This placed was packed on a Saturday afternoon. The line was long (all the way around to the door), but it moved along alright. The line was long the whole time we dined here. We had 2 orders of Boiled Crawfish w/ Potatoes, Corn and Sausage, Butterfly Shrimp, and Corn Dog. The Crawfish boil sides come with extra charge. The crawfish was good and spicy. My kids liked their shrimp and corn dog. They offer bags of New Orleans style chips and drinks in a fridge. It took a while for our food to come out, but it was understandable due to the long lines.”
