“Mom and Pop restaurant. Neck bones we're falling off the bone good. Black eye peas we're seasoned and flavored well. The red beans were good and sweet but good. Corn bread was pretty good. It was my first time so I will have to check it again. I want to try the ox tails and pork chops. It's tax season so half the restaurant was tax filing. The service was very good. Portion sizes we're large also.”

“This place is the best find I’ve had since moving from Chicago. The fish ceviche tostadas are phenomenal! They pack it with fish and avocado and red onion and those are picked to the perfect ripeness. I can go on and on but come and see for yourself. Bacons covered shrimp with cheddar cheese and jalapeños inside, WOW. The pescado empanisado (deep fried fish) didn’t even need tartar sauce, the flavor and tenderness was there! Enjoy!”

“This place is great. Our kid seemed to dread going to his Montessori daycare each day when he was about two years old. We moved across town and ended up changing to Jam Child Care with Miss Candi. We saw a complete change in our kid's attitude towards daycare almost immediately. We no longer had tears when dropping him off and he actually looked forward to going to daycare. He was able to interact with kids that were a year or two older and younger than him and it seemed to have a really beneficial impact. Miss Candi is great and very transparent with everything. She's smart and interacts great with the kids. She knows what she's doing. The price is very reasonable (and she should probably charge more than she does). We found a hidden gem in Jam Child Care. I'd definitely recommend checking it out and seeing if it's a good fit for you.”
