Emancipet

We’ve been bringing our pets to Emancipet for years, we love this place! Chryslynn was very patient with my mom before I arrived to help with speaking Spanish. She was so kind to my mom and she really appreciated it (my mom asked me to write this review for her). Always a friendly and happy visit!

This was my 1st time visiting this walk-in preventive care vet clinic. I was expecting to wait for hours for my dog to be seen. But it was only a few minutes. The staff was friendly and prompt. The waiting area was clean and inviting. The visit was so much cheaper than going to a full service vet. I walked away a very satisfied customer, and my dog was wagging her tail even before we left. That says a lot right there.

I’ve taken all my past pets here, since 2011, and the mobile clinic for spay and neuters. They all healed perfectly. I’ve also taken them to get their shots and preventive here, always great prices. Recently my dog needed to be spayed since she had an infection in her uterus and i waited in line at the free clinic for 5 hours but didn’t make it in since they reached max big dog capacity. I was devastated and called the resource center and discussed what I could do. The woman was so kind and went above and beyond to help. I got a call back an hour later saying she was accepted as an emergency case at the Norwood location and take her asap. I took her and they were very prompt and completed her surgery within and hour and a half. I am very beyond grateful they got her in. Cannot thank enough. Stella says thank you too!

Low cost vaccines & heart worm/flea prevention. The wait times can be long but they are thorough and quick once your pet is seen. They have always been very gentle and patient with my rescue. He’s very anxious and they always go above and beyond to make him (& me) feel comfortable.

I had my other dog treated here for heart worms and four years later he’s still thriving!

Emancipet is a good place for affordable services, just be aware they are no longer a full service veterinary clinic.
