Lake Travis House

My large extended family came to Austin for a gathering. The Lake Travis House is the perfect amount of space and amenities for three generations of the family to spend some quality time together. The space and layout also enabled a private and quiet retreat for those needing a break from the fun.

We stayed at the tiny cabin on the same property hosted by Angel and Steve on March 18 to 21. Angel is really sweet and goes above and beyond in making sure guests are taken care of and feels at home. They make sure all COVID-19 cleanliness standards are followed.
The cabin is located on the area of Austin Boat Tours and the drive is pretty straight forward, mostly on the main roads.
Cabin is perfect for tiny getaway and big enough to house family of 4. small living room, well equipped kitchen, a bathroom, 1 bed room and loft. Loft is cutest thing about 4 ft high but enough beds to sleep 4 people. Unlimited lake views, walk around the lake, sunset cruise makes it perfect place to relax. We cooked three meals in the cabin and tried new cuisines for other meals. There are plenty of restaurants in close proximity.
Its three hour drive from Dallas, perfect quick vacation place that everyone can enjoy.

What an amazing place! I will definitely book this beautiful property for our next event. So especially around Lake Travis there may be quite a few choices if your looking to book something like this but what you wont find anywhere else is the overwhelming hospitality and attentiveness from the owners. While visiting, I made several rather unusual requests, but no problem they took care of it all. The cost to book this property may be on par with that of booking a room at Burj Al Arab, but you get what you pay for. If you dream it, the owners can deliver it, make it, build it , cater it , rent it, whatever you need they can make it happen.
