  I have not been a member here but enjoyed as a guest several times. Their driving range across the street is my favorite. The course is great, a vast hill and difficult course. Not for amatuers. The facilities and staff I've found to be great as well. It's a unique course for sure.

  Small but well equipped country club with a golf course, gym, pool, playground, golf shop, babysitting service, restaurant, bar, locker room, meeting areas, and a bit more. The facilities are nice but showing their age. The staff are incredible, gracious, helpful, and patient! They are five stars. The restaurant is decent with a typical selection of appetizers and entrees. This is a good place to hold a wedding reception. We didn't use the golf course so I can't comment on that.

  Great place for a wedding reception. Beautiful views. Golf carts that hardly brake, haha. Overall had a great time.

River place is an excellent example of Texas hill country golf. The course is quite tight and there are lots of elevation changes as it snakes around the peaks and troughs of west Austin. It is an classic country club, and I highly recommend it to anyone. The staff was extremely friendly.
