  Dr. John Abikhalid is amazing doctor, one of the best Ascension Seton Surgeon!! My dad just had hiatal hernia repair. Dr.Abikhalid is very patient and knowledgeable, caring, compassionate, everything you want in a doctor! Highly recommended!

  As far as getting surgery goes, Dr. Abikhaled is great! He came highly recommended from my endocrinologist and performed a laparoscopic adrenalectomy last month. Everything from consult to post-op was thorough and professional. He's got a great bedside manner, communicated well throughout surgery with my other doctors, and had absolutely no qualms about answering all of my pesky questions. The hospital wouldn't let me keep the tumor (bummer), but Dr. Abikhaled was kind enough to take and print photos of the procedure as a keepsake, and he went through and explained what everything was and how the procedure went. I really enjoyed getting to meet him. Thank you!

  What a great doctor with an amazing bedside manner. He makes you feel so comfortable and spends time to answer any questions or concerns you may have. His double hernia surgery on Raymond Schwinn turned out very well with minimal pain or discomfort I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

  I’ve been dealing with stomach issues for a long time. My GI doctor suggested surgery and referred me to Dr. Abikhaled. Such a great doctor and positive experience. Making an appointment was super easy. I had a few tests done prior to my surgery showing other issues I had but had no idea. I appreciate doctors that aren’t “cutters” as my mother would say. The soonest I could get an appointment for surgery was suppose to be for the end of October but they knew I wanted to get it done ASAP. An appointment opened and they contacted me immediately. I had a fundoplication, they fixed a hiatal hernia, and took out my gallbladder. He came and checked on me several times in the hospital and was easy to get in touch with when I had questions.
  
  I really don’t think I could have trusted anyone else to do this.

  I just had thyroid surgery with Dr. Abikhaled and felt very well taken care of. He explained everything in much detail, drew little pictures to make it easy to understand, explained all risks and took the time to answer all my questions patiently. The surgery center they used was also amazing and after the anesthesia wore off, I barely had any pain. It's been two weeks now and the incision looks great. I highly recommend him without any hesitation.
