What follows is a long narrative. The summary is: Arden Courts is now caring for my wife. I am extremely pleased with the care she gets there. If you have a loved one needing more care than you can give at home, I recommend you contact Arden Courts.

It’s been three months since my precious wife became a resident at Arden Courts. Caring for her became very difficult and I needed a place that would care for her with compassion and competence. A memory care consultant made the recommendation of Arden Courts.

The day came that we needed to bring my wife to AC. The staff, medical manager Odessa, was welcoming and the transition was peaceful. The intake process, with the necessary forms to read and sign wasn’t overwhelming and the staff patiently walked me through the process.

During the first few day, I was comforted with activity photos texted to me by Trudy, activity director.

The staff is very attentive to my wife’s condition and needs. As the decline progresses, they are proactive and work hard to anticipate needs. This is seen throughout the staff.

Family of residents are also given the same care and consideration. After about a month of her residency, we had our 27th Anniversary. The staff, dietary and activity, prepared a place to enjoy a special lunch. That’s going the extra mile and was greatly appreciated.

As I said earlier, I have no reservations to recommend Arden Courts.

We moved Mom into Arden Courts from another memory care place back in April. Best decision we made and wished we had done it months earlier! The staff was great, the food was great, and the nurses in charge were great. A shout out for Odessa and Barbara! Mom loved her Arden family.

My mother moved to Arden Courts in August of 2019. I’m in love with her caregivers and other staff. The move in was smooth and easy. I love that once you are inside it doesn’t feel like a ‘facility’ ... it feels like home. It’s all one level and the staff knows everyone’s name and the huge, beautiful grounds are amazing. The entire staff is trained in and understands dementia They have taught me so much. I’m so thankful we made the decision to have mom live in this community.

I rarely give 5 star ratings to anything. Was Arden Courts perfect? No. But is any facility? All you can ask is that they do their best and this facility did just that to my great appreciation. My four sisters and I had concerns, multiple requests and were very involved during my mother's stay there in her final years which ended a few months ago. But I can't imagine a more caring, capable, and responsive facility than Arden Courts. The location was not convenient to me but I quickly learned to love the location. It is situated with several nearby parks where I often took my mother for walks. The facility is divided into 4 sections each with their own color-scheme and staff. One of the draws to this facility was the claim that they had a low turn-over rate in their staff. That turned out to be true and I never went into the facility without saying Hi to multiple people that made it a point to share experiences and moments with my mother that they had experienced. I often left Arden Courts thinking to myself the people that work there are Angels. I never felt anyone was there just to earn a paycheck. They deeply cared for the residents and the job they were doing to make them as comfortable as possible and make their stay as stimulating as possible. I highly recommend this place. It is a jewel among memory care facilities. My family was lucky to find this place for my mother.
