  I will definitely be returning here for an emergency in the future. Dr. G was quick to figure out what was wrong with my 6 month old daughter. The whole staff was extremely competent and made us feel so comfortable. They even called the next day to see how she was doing. They made a scary situation such a great experience. Thank you guys!!!

  The staff and doctors provided an excellent experience. They even support online check in. My husband and I barely had to wait before we were seen. Tests and results were very timely. They were very communicative and didn't leave my husband and I in the room for long periods of time without giving us an update. Carlos is the head nurse and probably the best nurse I've ever encountered. He was very kind and mindful of his service. I'm giving a 5 star overall for the experience but some feedback I have for Dr. Ely specifically is to be more straight forward with her patients. Don't make them pry information out of you. It's great to have a sense of humor, I appreciate that, but I wasn't clear as to what the actual risks or diagnosis was. She made it seem like nothing was happening and everything was okay when in fact, I had a high risk associated with my symptoms. Had she reviewed ALL their recommendations (they had for me on paper), verbally with me, I can't help but think my outcome and actions would have been different. I wish Dr. Ely had helped me fully understand what was expected of me or the associated risks. Other than that, this facility provided superior service and the only place I'll be returning if I have an emergency in the future. Thank you to the Austin Emergency Center team for your hospitality on South Lamar!

  The woman at the front desk was very helpful and energetic. After filling out paperwork I was seen within 5 minutes. The staff constantly checked in on me and gave me updates as they had information to share. They kept me informed throughout my visit. The tech who started my line was great, got it on the first try and didn’t fish for it. They took great care of me and it was evident that high quality pt care is the top priority here.

  Two weeks ago, my girl friend got burned by hot water and we visited Austin emergency room. Doctor and staff are so nice and professional. One week ago, I brought my girlfriend to AER to have a follow up care. Doctor and staff took care of my love so nice and even waived our co-payment. I want to suggest this place for all of you if need any urgent medical help. AER should be your first choice. Staff here are professional enough to take care of you. You don't have to worry about anything! Life is critical, health is critical, safety is critical. We all need a great medical team to take care us when we need. This place should be your first place to seek help!
