  When we first moved to Austin almost 2 years ago, our kids were in urgent need of ortho care (per the ortho we left when we moved) so we Googled and stumbled upon Smile Doctors as an option close to home. The office staff were sincerely welcoming, warm, professional and very knowledgeable. They have always been accommodating with our crazy schedules when making appointments. Dr Santos and his team are attentive and make the visit comfortable - we have one kiddo who doesn’t willingly open his mouth and has had no issues here. They always welcome us with smiles and take time to address concerns or explain the work being done. Dr Santos and his team are awesome! His friendliness goes a long way with our kids.

  Dr. Santos and his entire staff were amazing. They're always very friendly and very accommodating to any special request. Dr. Santos really cares and wants to make sure the final outcome is the best. Highly recommend Smile Doctors!

  I had an absolutely outstanding experience in all areas:
  1. Customer service: my call was answered promptly by a professional, friendly, and well-informed staff member. She was able to answer all of my questions I had regarding setting up the appointment and the procedure. She also empathetically explained several accommodations that could be made to minimize any discomfort during the procedure and made a note for my team.
  2. Arrival/check in: I had no issues locating the office or finding parking. Before entering, a staff member checked my temperature, then I was checked in and called for my procedure in under 5 minutes.
  3. Procedure: I was taken care of by Melinda Vargas, who provided the most comfortable experience I have ever had during an orthodontic appointment. She provided accommodations to help with sensitivity and performed the procedure flawlessly.
  I am so grateful to have found this team!

  I had a great first appointment with Dr. Santos and Smile Doctors. I was initially contemplating using Smile Direct Club to straighten my teeth but read horrendous reviews about the quality of treatment people received. Dr. Santos is truly a specialist in Orthodontics and I fully trust him with my care especially knowing that he is Board Certified. He was very detailed and through with my consultation and explained the treatment with clarity. Moreover, the energy in the office is infectious. His team was kind and professional. I'm excited to have chosen Smile Doctors!

  I have been to many dentists and orthodontists over the years, and Dr. Santos is absolutely among the very best. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, caring, and kind. My ten-year-old daughter's teeth have improved dramatically in a short amount of time, and the entire process thus far has been easy and painless. The staff members at Smile Doctors Braces are very professional, and always do their very best to make my daughter feel relaxed and comfortable. We couldn't be happier - Thank You!!
